What’s on the horizon for 2013 at DGM

A new year is upon us and there’s a lot to look forward to at DGM. Some of you may have noticed that our YouTube page now has an additional section for a new affiliated series: World of Depleted! We’re very excited to be working with the fine folks at this Gothic post-apocalyptic series to bring great creative content to our readers and to even allow our readers to participate.

As one of the new design rollouts we’re working to release, you’ll be able to create characters in the World of Depleted and submit them for official consideration! World of Depleted will be releasing some new content that will be featured exclusively at DGM before going over to World of Depleted’s own sight!

To find out more about this dark and mysterious world, check out the Day 419 miniseries that’s linked to our YouTube page!

But that’s not the only thing on the horizon by a long shot! This month we’re planning to privately pilot our first original video talkshow that looks at weapons and defense! Currently titled “Leather, Brass, and Bullets,” this 30 minute show will allow you to find out more about this world in an enlightening and empowering way! Hosts Kevin Letts and Joel Eigsti are slated to lead. After the pilot, the plan is that anyone with a YouTube account would be able to queue up to ask questions of our hosts!

Additionally, we draw ever closer to the launch of the user submission section our readers and staff have been clamoring for! We’re working our the last rough parts before the beta launch, hopefully in February!

And finally, we’re going to be doing an in-depth look at one of the most impressive modern Gothic detectives that you probably haven’t heard of–but will be really glad when you make the acquaintance!

Stay tuned as new things come out of DGM in 2013!
